Jim began his career in Myrtle Beach in 1979 and quickly established himself as a hard working, energetic and ambitious agent. Jim has specialized in land, development and site selection for the past 20 years. His ability to ask the right questions and form quick awareness into client needs and form effective solutions is at the core of Jim’s system of real estate service. Jim also strives to furnish clients with quality property and market information at multiple levels to enable clients to make intelligent decisions.

As The Market Common established itself in Myrtle Beach, Jim has dedicated himself in becoming a living resident and project expert of the community. A majority of his market effort is involved in understanding the intricate connections and opportunities available there.


John Jobson

John began his career in architecture in Charlotte over 35 years ago. With extensive experience in planning, design, construction, project management and sales, John has a skill set that covers most of the critical aspects of the real estate business. As a commercial agent for the past 15 years, John enjoys matching property use and client needs. His design and creative mentality enables John to effectively analyze property potential for client requirements.

Today’s economy poses multiple challenges for the commercial real estate business world. Establishing effective economic, demographic and market benchmarks necessary for our clients to understand the Myrtle Beach supply and demand forces are core to John’s current focus. His dedication is to aid our client’s ability to make more informed real estate decisions is paramount.

Johnny began his career in real estate in the construction field. Ultimately he was involved from site acquisition to project management and construction. Over the past 25 years, Johnny has used his construction experience to aid him in qualifying property use and requirements for real estate acquisition, site selection or land sales. His knowledge of the “nuts and bolts” of a project, “who does what and why” is beneficial to his clients because he knows that little details about property issues can cost a lot of money later if not addressed in the evaluation stage. We call him "The Bull Dog" because of his tenacious pursuit of entitlement issues necessary to secure client requirements.

Colorful, lively and fun to work with, Johnny enjoys making people laugh. Ultimately, he’s all business and extremely dedicated to making sure a client’s needs are met. Johnny considers Onslow County, NC to Georgetown County, SC as his market territory. With a background as owner and president of a manufacturing corporation, Kent entered the real estate profession in 1984. Having been a resident of Horry County for over 40 years, Kent has watched the changes in the real estate industry from a local perspective as a business man, investor, real estate agent, broker-in-charge, and co-owner of a business brokerage firm. Kent has also been a real estate instructor with Fortune Academy of Real Estate from 2001 to the present.

His knowledge of the market and skill as professional communicator make Kent highly qualified to provide assistance in a variety of real estate transactions.
